Friday night: trivia time with Sam, Erin & Joel!
That and devouring a veggie pita & tater tots... with cheese on top! Yum! 
Trying a Belgian-style beer brewed in New York and pronounced "rèr voos". 
Saturday: shopping at Marshall's with Maren, Thorsten & Menna. The loot: 2 pairs of shoes, a pair of jeans, a cardi, a sundress & a suitcase to carry it all in. (Lady at the checkout: "Shall I just put everything in that suitcase?" Me: "Uh... sure.")
Having the.best.cheesecake.ever with Maren & Menna at Café Intermezzo.
As Joey would say: "Cheesecake: good. Nutella: good. Nutella cheesecake? Gooooood!"
Sunday: visiting the High Museum of Art with Maren.
Sunday evening: trying some southern grub at Mary Mac's Tearoom with Alison & her friends, while discussing Jesus' core business proposition & making a church date for next Sunday (no my dear friends, I'm not kidding... we're going to crash a service at MLK's ol' church!)
I had the fried catfish (catfish! hihi!), the fried green tomatoes & the sweet potatoes. In all probability an enormous calorie bomb but a really really, really tasty one!
Note to self: Go running tomorrow. Do it. Doooooo it.

ReplyDeleteOMG that cheesecake looks yummiiiieeeee! You should take a sample home so we can have it analyzed at the foodlab to find out the ingredients...because that actually exists.
