Daily rhythm

So my rhythm assignment for photography class is due today. Like any good student, I procrastinated until the very last moment before finishing my homework. In the end, I wasn't very pleased with my selection of photos. I'll be honest, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. And that anal girl in class that strives to be the teacher's pet, fine. (Kidding. Sorta.)

Anywho, I got out my camera and hunted for some more images of rhythm at home to complete my assignment. My teacher was right - rhythm would end up driving us insane, because it's literally everywhere.

On the hunt

My photographically minded colleague and a good friend of her went on a photo hunting trip through Leuven last weekend. We walked through the beguinage, and visited the fair and the train station at night. Below some of the loot.

Rhythm in the sand

The first assignment I got for photography class is 'rhythm', or a repetition of similar elements in a regular fashion. Since I was still at the coast this weekend, I thought I'd take a trip to the beach to look for some rhythm in the sand. (Why yes... how poetic.)

At sea

After a summer of working working working, the boyfriend and I are finally enjoying a few days of vacation at the coast. In the meantime, my photography class has started, so I'll be trying to produce some pretty, arty-farty pics in the coming months. No place to start like the beach.

I swear my cousin and I did not order a chocolate and vanilla milkshake on purpose. I cannot make this stuff up. Seriously.
