Glamour

I need a series of pictures centered around the theme 'person' by tomorrow
(why yes, I always make my homework on time).
Obviously,
the boyfriend was the nearest victim available for my artistic endeavors.
Also he's really photogenic.
And isn't he glamorous?
I could've cut these out of Vogue magazine for all that matters.

bionic brother

I'm getting my camera fixed, because lately I'm having problems with the LCD screen. In the meantime, the store has provided me with a Canon Powershot S3 IS as a replacement. Not bad! It allows more photographic freedom than my own camera. After a few photography lessons, I've started to resent the limited semi-automatic and manual options my little bridge camera offers. Luckily, the Canon allows we to play around with shuttertime and aperture.

My brother also had some problems with his camera after getting sand in the lense during his trip in the States. But since his guarantee has expired, he decided to go the DIY-way (and succeeded!). While he was tinkering with the innards of his compact, I dragged him outside for a portrait of my 'bionic brother'.

(Yeah, apparently I had inadvertently set the image size to 'wide'. Ah well.)
