Moonrise
I told you the view from my apartment window was bound to make a few comebacks. Tonight my beloved and I were just sitting in the couch going over some household issues, when suddenly he exlaims "Look!" and points to the big orange moon rising over the Leuven skyline. I ran to get the tripod to make a few nightshots. It's not often we get such a beautiful view of the moonrise.

I love the second picture with the cloud in front of the moon.
ReplyDeleteIs that the university library? That's quite some distance! Did you use the end of your zoom in the third picture or can it go even further?

At a certain point, the cloud was position in such a way that it made the moon look like a half-eaten piece of cheese. Unfortunately that picture was fuzzy, too bad. The last picture is the end of my zoom capacity though, I only have a 10x optical zoom. But I'm quite happy with the results, given the type of camera I work with.
